Hi,
But as soon I get local Admin permissions everything works OK.
Also the backup works perfect with System Account.

I think it is more that dsmadmc try so search for a registry key or try to run
a MS library that is not accessible.

That sounds more like a case of you don't have something in the dsm.opt
correct, like the tcpserveraddress or maybe the routing at the system level.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Minimum permissions to run dsmadmc.exe?

 Hi,
I have try to figure out what the minimum permissions level a user need to
have in Windows to be able to run DSMADMC.EXE (Version 6.2.1.3 64-bits).

I have set the TSM Admins to have Read/Write and Modify access to
C:\Program Files\Tivoli\*
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Tivoli\*
C:\Program Files\IBM\*

But when I start DSMADMC.EXE it just jump to a new line and nothing
happening.
My next step are to run REGMON and FILEMON to solve the problem, but I was
hope to find a quicker way to solve it though adsm.org.
