Hi, I did look around, but couldn't find any information or thread about my problem, so I'm going to ask here.
TSM 5.5.2.0 on AIX 5.3.0.0 Windows 2008 System State backups consists of far too many files than the previous versions of Windows. Some of them have milions of files. So with increasing number of Windows 2008 boxes it threatens to effect the size of the TSM DB. I wonder if there is any cure for this in TSM or 3rd party products ? One solution pops right into the mind - backup with 3rd party product into a single file than backup the file with TSM, but which is this product ? There was NTBACKUP before, but it is no longer in Windows 2008.
