Joerg, The nut of the problem, if I have this right, is that virtual volumes aren't reclaimed the same way as physical volumes. They have to be 100% reclaimable before they return any space. Their pct_utilization does go down, but the empty space in them is locked until they are completely empty.
Expiration finishes every day here, now that we are on TSM 6.2. And, we run
reclamation assertively on all storage pools. Collocation is set to 'NO'.
