It's possible to do VM file level backups using the GUI Correct? I know on the GUI under Actions Restore VM option I click on the + sign and see VM's but they all say (VCB) FULL next to them.

Hi, IIRC you don't need to, restore VM will restore to a local disk, you then have to restore the VM to ESX using VMWare converter.
