Hi all, in my opinion, you not only need to ask Windows , "UX" and mainframe admins for backup rules. This is only for system data. Policies should be defined by application owners, too. They have to take care about data availibility following rules defined by i.g. legacy. Do not grant authority to your TSM server to all of them ;-)

Gesendet von: "ADSM: Dist Stor Manager" <[email protected]> Hi, There are different kinds of servers and their corresponding teams in a company: Windows-based, Linux-based, AIX and mainframe. Who should normally design/dictate backup policies for a central TSM?
