I stand corrected... I just forced a tape reclaim and it behaved properly: a single mount then I/O to reclaim started.
I'm at 6.2.3 now... had seen the extra dismount/mount when at 6.2.2. Only one tape had been involved, and one stg pool. Just a change to 6.2.3 perhaps? ------------------------------------------------ Harold Vandeventer
