A few diagnostic questions. - You said the files are backed up individually (dsmc backup file1) Are there ever any backups that happen with wildcards or any normal incremental that happens on the file system? - Is this directory included in the domain (opt file)? - Is there an include/exclude file configured? - could you provide an output of a "dsmc q inclexcl" (maybe the dsm.sys and dsm.opt while you're at it.
