Another related question. Currently, this node plus 31-others are mounted as shares to a single 2K3x32 server. The Windows folks realize this is becoming too much for this system (plus they want to upgrade to a higher client) so they are creating a new 2K12x64 server with 6.4.0.1 TSM client (as well as moving all backups that are on mmy lone 5.5 TSM server to a 6.2 TSM server) to replace it.
What is the proper way to move everything to the 2K12 server) so it won't initial new/full backups of everything? The backup schedules for each node use -objects \\carnation.uc.adp.vcu.edu\csvadmin parms to control what is backed up by each node. The mount-points/data is all SAN based CIFS. They do it this way to give each CIFS owner control over their backups/restore.
