We have used the refreshstate option several times with our VTLs when we add slots. It works well. TSM 6.2

It doesn't seem to be very complicated to implement and I've always wondered why TSM requires a restart when changing anything in the library configuration (or deleting all paths, all drives the library and then rebuilding everything, imagine doing that on a LM or a TSM server that shares 18 drives with 9 NAS filers ;-) ) On 19 apr. 2013, at 15:11, Zoltan Forray <[email protected]> wrote: > For this issue of tape library replacements/swaps (since we are about > to do this), has anyone tried the AUDIT LIBRARY command with > REFRESHSTATE=YES?
