If I understand correctly there is no way of getting rid of the logs without doing a full dbbackup. Is this a DB2 deficiency or is it TSM(-->RFE)?
Reason I ask is that when logs are filling up when expiring unnormal amounts of data, automatic dbbackup does not finish in time. Which again is due to the exploding size of DB2 after trying deduplication. Nothing in DB2 that resembles Oracles archivelog backup? Regards, Hans Chr.
