I have seen this - you need to add/compile the locales to the linux host
- you need to set your language to en-US but the locale file for the
given language must exist in the system.
As far as I remember, locale-gen is what you need in Ubuntu ...

Checked the client manual, and, if I understood the section correctly, changed
the LANG variable to en_US.
Added “LANG=en_US” to the startup script, restarted the client, but no change
