Hi Wanda, I cannot answer your question re: the impact on Exchange 2010 from upgrading Windows Powershell 3.0 on the fly. However, I can apologize for the frustration re: the TDP 7.1 install guide. Because Windows PowerShell 3.0 is a pre-req, the information is posted on the site where all hardware and software requirements are posted ( http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21654310).
When I look at the FlashCopy Manager Windows Installation and User's Guide, I see that we called out the PowerShell 3.0 pre-req (in addition to posting the information online with all hardware and software prerequisites). I can make sure we include the same information in the DP for Exchange (and DP for SQL) install guides.
