That will work.
But, if they really want *all* non-pst files bound to the new mgmt. class, just 
change the copy group/retention settings for the default mgmt. class. 
Then all you need is:

include ?:\...\*.pst  meager-mc


That would have a slight advantage, in that files that are inactive because 
they no longer exist on the drive (which cannot be rebound) would be governed 
by the new rules.  And it's simpler.

A user wishes to bind all files except .pst files to a new management class 
with more ample retention settings.  What's the best way to do this?  Is it 
sufficient to bind all .pst files to a second management class --to keep them

include ?:\...\*        ample-mc
include ?:\...\*.pst  meager-mc
