I do not think it can be done. We lost rootvg a few years ago and after
talking with support for a long time we ended up restoring the DB from tape. I

Subject: [ADSM-L] how to enable existing tsm server 6.3 database to reinstalled
os

hello,

tsm server 6.3 installed on windows 2008 r2

os is gone but the tsm server database and logs are available (SAN)

which is the easiest way to start existing tsm database after installing os new
and the tsm server code new?
is there a way to avoid dsmserv restore db (because the database itself is
ok)

with best regards
