Keep in mind that when a drive is replaced on a 3584 the old serial number is preserved, despite the replacement drive having a different serial on its sticker. The serial number is on the cannister that holds the drive. There’s plenty of room here for someone with a better memory than mine to refine these statements but they point in the right general direction. Keith
