My employer is reviewing application compatibility issues for a planned upgrade to Internet Explorer 11. When I was checking browser requirements for TSM components I noticed that the Web client requires a Java plugin. If I understand the terminology correctly Google Chrome has dropped support for Java plugins and Microsoft Edge, the successor to Internet Explorer, has never supported Java plugins. Does IBM have a long term strategy for delivering the Web client functionality as support for Java plugins becomes increasingly rare?
