There are no SAN-based technologies for node replication currently
available within TSM.  However, I have been able to get relatively good
node replication performance over a WAN link with 30-40 ms delay by
expanding the TCPWINDOWSIZE from the default 63K to 1024K.  That, coupled
with running 30-50 replication sessions concurrently has been able to fill
a 1 Gbps pipe.  The maximum supported value for TCPWINDOWSIZE is 2048K,
but I found that to be of limited utility.

You should sign up for the TSM beta program, as they are actively
developing the node replication technology and big changes are on the
horizon.

Hello,

I am having a WAN setup and we are doing node replication ( windows tsm
server 714 to linux tsm server 714) to another tsm server ( we do use file
type stg pools only) . ( The LAN FREE is only for node replication )

since it is wan the data transfer is very slow even we have roboust setup
,
we are looking to have a kind of setup for node replication . is it
possible any setup guidence like SANergy.


Help share your view and suggestions .
