Every time I try to run Android Studio I get a complaint about JAVA_HOME not being defined. It is absolutely defined and points to the top level of the JDK I have installed, which is where JAVA_HOME should be pointed. I've tried with/without the '\' on the end (this is Windows). So scrapping the Studio and using SDK.
