Hi Xavier, I've seen multiple forum posts inquiring about this capability, and that suggests that there is value in supporting this use case. I understand that this is probably not a high priority for the Android tools team, and I'd be happy to contribute the necessary changes to support it in the Gradle plugin.
Should I proceed with developing the changes and submitting them for review?
