I'm not sure what you mean there. If you develop for L, then yes your
minSdkVersion will be forced to 'L' (not 20). However if you don't, there
will be no changes for you.

You don't have to use the preview of version 21 of the support libs. Just
use 20 or 19.x and you'll be fine.
