Today I bumped one of my projects to use gradle plugin 1.0.0 rather than 0.14.2 and to my surprise the APK size increased by 865KB.
We use both minify and shrink resources. If I unpack the APK and repack it using zip -9 the size is only 60KB larger but that's still a weird increase.
