Hi, badly need help on an issue: Validating an app / uploading yields this error " ERROR getting 'name' attribute: attribute is not a string value " , I removed all string references from AndroidManifest.xml of my project and still the same problem.
I guess, aapt tool looks further down in all dependencies of the project to find occurences of string resource reference in libraries AndroidManifest. HOW TO TRICK OR BYPASS THIS PROBLEM ? BEEN 3 DAYS LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION. (A TICKET WAS RAISED TO ANDROID TEAM ALREADY) My app works fine and well tested on phone and samsung gear live. We just need to upload it to PlayStore so that few people can download it an install. Please help.
