Android Studio 3.0 definitely is an improvement.
But Gradle Plugin 3.0 broke my builds. We have all seen: https://developer.android.com/studio/build/gradle-plugin-3-0-0-migration.html But the section: "Modifying variant outputs at build time may not work" Includes the following snippet: android.applicationVariants.all { variant -> variant.outputs.all { outputFileName = "MyCustomApkFileName.apk" } } So how do we configure the output directory where "MyCustomApkFileName.apk" is finally placed?
