Marko, I am sure you don't want answers to all those questions.

We are all afraid of silence, to a greater or lesser degree (with a
few exceptions), so all of this is just to train or guide the
thoughts.
One doesn't stop thinking when one reads or hears 'Just stop
thinking', but starts thinking about that.
