Yes, words are most harmless/ meaningless, as long as one doesn't read
them.

Mulla story,

An illiterate man went to mulla with a letter "Mulla can you just read
this to me ?"
Mulla could not make out a single letter from the letter and told the
man.
"What ? Mulla, you should be ashamed before the turban " (Turban is a
sign of literacy/knowledge )
Mulla "Here, take the turban, if that makes you literate, and read it
yourself "
