If I continue using Landmark Educations definition for a second, I am the equivalent of a washing machine running a program called IT With my background in spirituality I have already skewed their meaning of the course by applying my 'listening' so as I understand it IT is running Mark OS (programmed by Mum, Dad, Teachers and Peers) IT is on automatic - Self is not required for IT to survive - in fact I rarely need to worry about IT because it is a very capable machine and worry or not, things will turn out without my input. I am not required. IT runs on top of Survival OS - again Self is not required - put your hand on a hot plate - who moves the hand? Intentionally drown yourself by putting your head under water in the bath? If you can keep your head under and IT doesn't come up for air then perhaps you are in control of your life - though I doubt it. Everything is IT. Define IT and you'll find Self :-) I promise you, it has nothing to do with bliss. Is it the same as Advaita? As a pointer to pure consciousness Landmark Education provide a valid experience without stories. Possibly a more useful story to a larger body of humanity who think what we are talking about is bullshit. Again, all my story (or concept) but it is fun. Self can be very accessible. Cheers Mark
