Yes. But Maslow is very vagues about the word Self Actualisation means.
Sometimes, when realising the Self, Kundalini is awakened.
But the symptoms of Kundalini are treated by modern psychiatrists as PTSD as
I dont know of any medical studies done on it.

suffering.
The easier way is to go by the Guru's words and listen to the Guru.
To find the Self is your only purpose in life - Nisargadatta.

...and Advaita is a way to do it.
