Hi all,

I am interested in understanding the mechanism of how serviced component is
invoked from a .NET client. I understand that it actually goes through
remoting to get to the service component (I can see the remoting message
sinks all the way to stackbuilder in the stack trace) and uses COM interop
to consult the COM+ interception on pre-call and post-call to see what COM+
services are needed for the component and perform it. The question that I
have is that what channel of remoting is used to communicate to serviced
component in this context. Can the channel be changed via program or
configuration?

If my understanding of the mechanism is not correct. Please correct me :)

Rgds,
Chee Pin
