This is a minor issue, but it annoys me, and I hope that someone may suggest a solution. Not sure if it is an "advanced" issue either, but see no other group to post this question either...
On one machine, breakpoints in C# code are displayed exactly as in VC6, and in a way I like it: red circle on the left margin. If I check the option "Color text of current breakpoint" under Tools/Options/Debugging/General, then the debugger will highlight one line of text, from the left margin and infinitely to the right (this is not the way I like it, just checking). On the second machine, however, things are screwed up. When I set a BP, a statement is highlighted, so the highlight can span a few lines. Only text is highlighted, so that highlight bars do not reach the left and right margins. I hate this appearance - it way to distracting. The "Color text..." checkbox has no effect whatsoever! Is there any way to fix it? Both are apparently set up from the same distro.
