This is usally more in the "its faster, honest" category. I know that they really took the security stuff seriously in the 1.1 framework, but I doubt you'll ever get a feature list of what they changed. The real answer is how much faster do your existing apps work? Specifically I think they did a lot of work in the XML/ASP.NET space since they both had perf issues.
