Well cant send the original code i have but i have downloaded a sample which
gives the same problem .

Can you include the callstack (exception trace), and the server and
client code (including the remoting config file if that’s what you are
using). Can you then resubmit the question to the list (ie.e don't reply
with the info to me). This will aid people resolving your problem

I am creating a Client Activated object.
It is successfuly instantiated, but whenever a method is called on it.

gives the following exception
"an existing connection was forcibly closed by the server".
I was told by some one that this is a problem in the .NET 1.1 not in 1.0
if so then what is the remedy for 1.1
