To look at the permissions granted to Assembly B: caspol -rsp AssemblyB.dll is quickest but not exactly readable. Slower but easier to make sense of:
- Fire up the Framework Configuration tool (in Admin Tools or just run MSCORCFG.MSC) - Figure out which code groups Assembly B belongs to (caspol -rsg can help here) - Choose Edit Code Group Properties, Permission Set tab - Select Security and choose View Permission To change the level, use the Framework Configuration tool or the Trust An Assembly wizard (in Admin Tools > Framework Wizards). There are also caspol incantations if you're more comfortable with the command line. Having said that, from hunting around on my machine, which I believe has the default security settings, it seems that most code that is allowed to execute gets the assert permission... so that may not be your problem after all... -- Ivan Towlson White Carbon -----Original Message----- From: Janis Braslins [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 19 August 2003 17:17 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Ivan Towlson Cc: Janis Braslins Subject: Re: Setting access permissions for assemblies compiled at runtime Not sure, how do I check/add that? =================================== This list is hosted by DevelopMentor http://www.develop.com NEW!
