Can you point those of us who are unfamiliar with this particular idea
to where you first learned/read about it? I am intrigued to learn more
about how I might apply it to my own COM+ components at work.

Subject: [ADVANCED-DOTNET] COM+ Caching

Hello all,

I am using the HttpRuntime.Cache from within my com+ components. In the
cache, I am
storing a dataset that holds data which rarely changes in the db, and is
read only in the
business layer. It works fine and speeds up my components dramatically.

I'm just hoping to get some feedback on whether anyone else has used
this technique.
Looking for pros and cons.

Thanks, Steve
