I believe one of my developers had problems trying to get the address API to work with vs.net also.

Are these things actual soap-based web services? I played around w/the address information stuff like a year ago & as I recall all the slick proxy generator stuff in vs.net did not work--I needed to system.xml my way to properly formatted requests & parse responses my own self. Does that sound right to you? Thanks! -Roy -----Original Message----- From: Unmoderated discussion of advanced .NET topics. Pradeep: This link to the USPS web tools may help. http://www.usps.com/webtools/ We just finished research on using their address verification services. They also have delivery tracking web tools. Pradeep, 1. Downloading credit card transactions would only be offered by the banks themselves or the credit card processors. If you're looking for processing credit card transactions (for a shopping cart or what have you), we offer the XWebCheckOut web service - http://www.xwebservices.com/Web_Services/XWebCheckOut/. 2. Here is a discussion on UPS - http://www.asp.net/Forums/ShowPost.aspx?tabindex=1&PostID=755899. Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas on FedEx or USPS. I am wondering if someone can tell me where to find useful web services for businesses? I have been searching on UDDI but haven't found anything. Some services that I am interested in are: 1. Downloading credit card transactions for a given AmEx/Visa/MasterCard card. 2. Tracking shipment via FedEx, UPS, US-Mail, etc. I would appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance for your help.
