Kalyan, There are no better controls that I've found. I've modified the HierarGrid extensively for various projects and never had any problems. Did the examples work for you? You should first try to get the examples running before you modify any code. I've managed to get the examples working on numerous development environments without any problems. The onclick event for the "plus" button calls javascript that adds an html row to the table (using content from the current row), so your browser needs to have a certain level of dhtml compliance and javascript needs to be enabled. The examples work in firefox and ie. The datasource that you bind to needs two (or more) tables linked with a DataRelation.
