no - the MAC address is not part of any client cert - and it can't if you
think about it.

You cannot easily obtain the MAC address from a client - not whithout having
some piece of software on the client - just in case you plan to do any
security related decisions based on that - don't.

Subject: [ADVANCED-DOTNET] obtaining the mac address from a client
certificate

Hi all,

Is there a way we can get the MAC address of the client, from the client
side SSL certificate. what all client specific parameters can be obtained
from the certificate, apart from the regular certificate related information
like, the provider, validity dates and stuff.

  Thanks,
  Ravi
