HI all, I know I have been asking a few questions recently but I am not asking for code, just general advice on the best way to achieve things. Anyway….. We have a custom CMS where by you can add things like image files and flash files to something we call the Asset manager. This is OK when we only have one web server but as is the case for our maiden voyage of the CMS, the cms will be on 2 web servers. Obviously when you upload an asset to 1 server, it will need replicated to the other server. I have used Application centre in the past but we have no budget for this type of thing presently, so I guess we have to write out own. I think a simple file copy is bad because of permissions but maybe this is the simplest way to go. I know you can send attachments over web services using DIME but some of these files could be large. Any thoughts people?? Thanks Paul =================================== This list is hosted by DevelopMentor® http://www.develop.com
