I don't like to begin an offtopic thread here, but I just can't avoid the
following comment:

When you buy a car, you pay upfront for it and you don't have to 'enjoy'
your car dealer's personal attention for months on end, so that they recover
their expenses and (eventually) turn a profit. Further... if you had
decided to avoid paying, that would be extremely easy (just dispute an
invoice) and in 99% of cases you'd be left with a (mostly) working car, and
the dealer - with some invoices that can't be collected.

I can understand Franklin's position, and I can also understand why he would
want to solve the problem even though he's probably doing his job well, and
his client is a big beep-bip-bleeeeeeep for playing with stuff they're not
supposed to touch.
