Please forgive the OT post but you guys are the smartest group I've come across so I value your input.
My company is using SharePoint to capture data in an InfoPath form for change management. I kind of think this should be an application but I'm not in the decision making circle. I've been asked to come up with an SOP for making changes to the SharePoint apps (if you can call it that). What my boss seems most concerned with is having the ability to rollback a bad change. Seems somebody has put something in that really messed everything up. Now I'm new to SharePoint but rolling back the form seems easy enough...just use source safe and publish the previous version, however, I'm a little confused as to how the data structure and data could be rolled back. I am also wondering what happens if I try to open a form posted under a previous version of the form. Thoughts?
