I seem to be in the minority here but I don't like ActiveRecord. I find the attributes pollute my domain classes too much. I feel that they break persistence ignorance. And in NHibernate 1.2 the actual amount of effort required to create class mapping files has gone down considerably. Especially when you factor in Resharper and James Kovacs NHibernate live template files @ http://www.jameskovacs.com/blog/ReSharperTemplatesForNHibernateAndCastleActiveRecord.aspx
