I apologize for not responding. For some reason I am no longer getting emails and I can't seem to log into the site. So I viewed the thread from that archive and copy and pasted it.
Thank you for the information on .db files, I will check out the resources and see where it gets me. For the short term I chose to just use xml and to my suprise it is actually working pretty fast and without locks. I would still like to use a .db file just because it's something I want to have experience with, so I'll look at those things today. thanks again for the time and sorry for the delay in response.
