No, it still means offloading the management and storage of the list to
another server and organization; but providing a courtesy to the list
users by transferring to the new server/organization so we don't have to
change our links and affecting the Google metrics.

The only effort required by develop.com is adding a couple of DNS records
(maybe one MX, and one CNAME record).  This would also have the advantages
of not having to post on this list to inform users of the new location,
then delaying decommissioning of the current server.  Users would simply
be redirected to the new server.
