Hi Hari
Maybe u can open up Internet Explorer or Netscape or MS WORD on the local
drive (All of them display HTML files)

Runtime.exec(pathnameOfEditor filename.html)

example
Runtime.exec("C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE example.html)"

Or else u can even use ToolTipText to display the help info...so that when
the user places the mouse on the text, some tooltiptext is displayed

Hope it helps
Regards
Hari

Subject: displaying local HTML file

Hi all,
I am presently trying to develop a component that has some text .
Some of the terms in the text need to be highlighted so that they act
as hyperlinks. On clicking any one of these hyperlinks I would like to
take some action such as displaying an explanation for the highlighted
Text. How do I do this ?

And I need to display a HTML file on a Local drive. How do I do
this ?
Any Sugestion is appreciated.

Thanx,
Hari.
