Scrollbar display

Hi Folks,   I have a JPanel added to a scrollpane. I want to add border to this scrollpane only if size of panel exceeds and scroll bar appears. Is there any way to get notified when the scrollbar of that scrollpane get displayed ?   Thanks   - Bharat
