Hi Leonid,
The Sentry SpellChecker provides some options for searching.
1) The options aren't enough for a sophisticatd spell check.
2) Some of these options are contradictory .
3) The option to ignore URLS and HTTPS fails at some points.
4) Correct words immediately followed by characters like ',' , '.' ,';' are
treated as errors.
5) Replacements for the words are weird.
A mispelt word for example like 'tp' might give you replacements like
http://jkfahskjfhaksjfaksj.com,http://aksjfklasjfklasjfkla.com etc.
The suggestions for a mis-spelt word is really weird.
We are currently using this product and would like to replace it if we
can
find
a better one.
Do inform us if you find a better one.
Thanks
Pradeep

I sure will. If you have a second, what are the problems that you're facing
with Sentry? I have not yet evaluted this product. Just filed out their
application today.
Thanks.

Subject: Spell Checker for Java text components.
I am looking for a Spell Checker that will work with Java text components. I
found one from Wintercare Software (called Sentry). But I want to evaluate
competing products as well. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
