JMenu Esc Key Bug

Hi ,
     I have observed that hitting ESCAPE key when the focus is on a JMenu does
not close the JMenu.Is this is bug similar to the  JPopupMenu or is there a
workaround for this. If  you know the bug-id related to this, please inform.
