sorry for disturbing you! 
When I use the applet to communicate with the web server , I put some JTextFields to 
get the input text, 
then I press a JButton the check the input text , but there is a problem when focusing 
on the custom JTextField, 
just as follows: 
if (pwd.length () <= 0) 
{ 
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog (this,str); 
text.grabFocus(); 
text.requestFocus(); 
return false ; 
} 
so you see , the cusor is setted at the text , but I can not key press into the text 
field!
