I have seen similar things in the past. Usually fixed by them adjusting
the Video acceleration settings
Here's a link to where that is on a system

Subject: [advanced_delphi] Graphical problem

Hi all,

i had developped an application with Delphi7, where i use a bmp as
background and other bmp images superimposed with trasparency. In
effect it's a radio simulator and to show a changing display or the
position of some moving buttons, i superimpose differents bmp as
required.

Now, the strange behaviour: all is working just perfectly on all
desktop pc i ever try... but on some laptop i see this problems:

- instead of the trasparency i see a white color (ok, not so bad)
- the superimposed bmp are shifted horizontally (lot of pixels !!) so
they are not in the right place they are supposed to be !

So in these laptops, my work is just unusable !!!

So, any idea of what the hell this problem can come out or how to
solve it ??

Someone whit the same problems ???

Thank you all, Pietro
