Maybe I spoke too soon .. delphi32.exe has the right date and time, but when I run it, the About box shows version 7.0, build 8.1. ok, ok. Looking at my laptop on Vista, I see that it too reports the wrong version. So I'm probably ok.

I've done this before when I have a new pc, but for some reason I'm stuck this time. The patch demands that I put the original cd into the drive, then proceeds to reinstall 7.0. obviously I'm missing something here. Can anyone give me a refresher? Jeremy
