The TWebbrowser AxtiveX component is twice as slow to load from disk, then when it loads from the Internet.
I have tested this with the cache emptied each time. The New York Times Web Page loaded in 5 seconds from the Internet, when loaded from a saved MHT file it took 10 seconds, and when loaded from a saved HTM file it took 23 seconds. Does anybody knows the reason for this, or how to improve the loading time from disk ?
